No refund issued despite no documents submitted

I paid £1,695 to Migration USA for immigration support services. After an inital call, I decided not to proceed further and requested a refund before any documents were submitted to any authority.

The company refused any refund whatsoever, relying entirely on non-refundable terms and conditions despite the engagement ending at a very early stage. When I raised concerns about the proportionality and fairness of retaining the full fee, I was met with references to legal representatives and claims for additional hourly charges simply for handling my refund request.

I raised a formal complaint, but was not provided with the name of any external resolution body or regulator — only a vague reference to "external resolution." I was unable to easily identify regulatory information during my complaint process and found it difficult to obtain clear answers regarding the company's complaints escalation route. I also repeatedly asked who their regulatory or representative body was and did not receive a clear answer to that question. The company ultimately shut down correspondence and stated they would not engage with me further.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Migration USA.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this immigration lawyer and would not recommend their services. From the start, communication was poor — responses were slow, unclear, or sometimes didn’t come at all. For something as stressful and important as immigration matters, this lack of responsiveness caused unnecessary anxiety.

I often felt rushed during consultations and didn’t feel that my case was handled with care or attention to detail. Important questions were brushed off, and I was left confused about next steps more than once. I expected professionalism, guidance, and accountability, but unfortunately did not receive that.

Given the high fees charged, the level of service was extremely underwhelming. I regret choosing this lawyer and would strongly advise others to carefully consider their options before moving forward.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!

I would strongly advise to AVOID this company at all costs and DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEIR SERVICES!!

A summary of what happened is that I hired the Managing Partner of the firm and paid the full fees of £4200 to process the full petition and resulting consular process for the EB2 NIW visa green card employment. I did most of the work myself only for my petition to be firstly sent back due to an error on the service centre location and then rejected due to a payment error which was due to incorrect information given to me by the firm. I am now back to square one with having to re-submit a new petition.

I have spent an additional £500 due to these errors caused by them and they do not want to take any accountability for their errors and have refused to refund me my money. I am shocked with the service I have received in resolving this dispute. They don't have the knowledge & expertise they claim and do not conduct any due diligence with their work. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend them!!
